Often overlooked, the prolific composer Franz Schubert was a hugely consequential figure in music history. His graceful Mass in G, Intende voci, along with complementary orchestral gems, will be performed by members of the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra in the intimate setting of Tiedtke Concert Hall. In the Insights & Sounds tradition, the musical presentation will be enhanced by Dr. John Sinclair’s commentary on its composition, history, and significance and is sure to convince you that Schubert’s music is indeed sublime.
