Tasting Notes: Savory Songs and Stories

Enjoy a sensorial journey of global music and flavor at the historic Howey Mansion. Soprano Dr. Caitlin Mohr and pianist Kristine Griffin present a song recital that pairs regional music with curated wine and cheese tastings.

This musical tour includes Italian Baroque, Spanish dance rhythms, French impressionism, German Romanticism, and American art song in folk, jazz, and spiritual styles. Wine and cheese pairings highlight the cultural themes of each region.

Tickets: $65/person, $70 at the door. Tickets are general admission and include samples of wine and cheese that will be served throughout the experience. Doors open 30 minutes before the concert.

Caitlin Mohr, soprano, and Maikai Nash, piano, will be featured as a guest artists at the Na Koa Wounded Warrior Regatta Reception this summer in Honolulu.  Please join her in honoring our wounded veterans, their families, and the families of our fallen veterans.  

A portion of your ticket price supports hosting Wounded Warriors, their spouses, and Gold Star family members.  Academic Scholarships to Hawaii resident Gold Star Keiki attending college will be presented.  Additional donations will be greatly appreciated to support these two efforts.
